Slovak Championship Vladimír Psalman Memorial 2025

On 11. 05. 2025 - 16. 05. 2025, the International Slovak Championship MVP was held in the Murter Sea with the participation of 16 boats of the Bavaria 41 category, organized by AAA Yacht s.r.o. and the yacht club TJ Sĺňava Piešťany. The race annually commemorates the memory of the significant personality of Slovak yachting Vladimír Psalman.
The entire race was planned for 12 races, so it was a daily combination of an up/down circuit and an offshore stage.

On Sunday, 11. 05. 2025, three up/down training races were held in the area in front of Marina Betina in a southerly wind of 12-15 kn.

On Monday, two races in the form of a carousel on up/down buoys were held in the area in front of Vrgada in a weakening jugo. The first race was won by Miroslav Tuleja's crew, the next race was cancelled due to a sudden change in the wind.

On Tuesday, in a light wind of 9-12 kn, the first of two offshore races with a length of 20 nm started near the island of Murvenjak in the area in front of Murter - the turning point of Žirje Island, then Mažirina and the finish near the island of Gušteranski. The second navigation race started near the island of Gušteranski and ended before Zlarin with a turning point around the island of Kakan. The second race was won by Miroslav Tuleja's crew, and the third race was won by Boris Šichmák's crew.

On Wednesday, the fourth race started in a light southwest wind of 6-9 kn in the area in front of the town of Tribunj near the island of Prisnjak, another offshore race with a length of 15 nm. The turning point of Cavlin and the finish near the island of Maslinjak. Miroslav Tuleja and his crew confirmed the victory again. The next navigational race of the day started near the island of Maslinjak, the Visovac turnpike, around the buoy, the Visovac turnpike and the finish near the island of Maslinjak. The fifth race was won by Miroslav Tuleja's crew.

On Thursday, the race was started in a weak jugo of 9-15 kn near the island of Murvenjak, the sixth offshore race of 15 Nm in length. The Cavlin turnpike and the finish near the island of Murvenjak. The race was won by the crew of Ľubomír Macejka.
The seventh and eighth races started in front of the Betina marina up/down. The seventh race was won by the crew of Boris Šichmák and the eighth race by the crew of Matej Kollárik.
Unfortunately, Friday's bora gusting to 35 knots was too strong, so no race took place.

The winner of the International Slovak Championships MVP 2025 was the crew of Miroslav Tuleja's boat, the second place went to the crew of Ľubomír Macejka's boat and the third place went to the crew of Boris Šichmák's boat. The results were announced in the restaurant of Marina Hramina. All participants of the race jointly confirmed their interest in organizing the next year.

A huge thank you goes to the race referees Damir Desabot and Igor Lehotov. Furthermore, to the AAA Yacht company, which was able to find 16 responsible and sports-loyal crews. Last but not least, to the yacht club TJ Sĺňava Piešťany and the company MH Charter for their help in obtaining permission to organize the race from the local authorities.
